Job Status Changes based on Activity. So the Statuses become more automated.
Job Statuses are very useful for seeing the list of jobs which are active, lost, waiting for approval etc. And keeping these statuses up to date is now easier with some automation built in on conditions.
Estimated = When the first estimate has been added to the Parent Job or related Sub Job.
Quoted = When the first quote has been added, will also change the related Sub Jobs which have been included on the quotation.
Won = When the Quotation has been converted to a Sales Order.
In Progress = When costs have been added to the Parent Job or related Sub Job, and the status is less than In Progress, then this will change to In Progress.
Completed = When the Parent Job’s Status us currently “To Invoice” and all the Sales Orders have been converted to confirmed Invoices, then we will change the status to complete.
The Status Codes of On Hold, To Invoice and Lost are all manually set at this stage.
