InterAcct Job Costing for Odoo – Unable to Change Estimate which has converted to Budget and has a related Approved Sales Order
One of the issues has been with the prior version is that if a user creates an estimate, then attaches it to a Quotation, then converts the quotation to a Sales order.
At this point the Estimate should be locked as the cost/sell has been approved by the customer.
If later there are variations to what needs to be done, then a new variation estimate should be added, which then a second Quotation/Sales order can be generated for this.
So this change locks the Estimate once it is in the Budget Status AND has a approved Sales Order. You can unlock it by cancelling the sales order.
In this state, it is set to Read Only, so you can’t change/add/delete any lines.
