InterAcct Job Costing for Odoo – Linking from CRM

This a new feature added to the CRM part of the Odoo system that connects now to our job costing so you can use the pipeline and from there rather than creating a quotation they go and create a job directly.

We provide a button from the opputunity under the pipeline to create a job or you can select an existing job.

The job will pull through the customers, the opportunity to this particular job. If we just go back to the the opportunity now you can see now that job is now being filled in there so that’s really the main thing about the connection and what it allows you to do.

The job and you can see the status is across the top so one of the other things this module has done is it’s generated all those statuses in the CRM so let’s say for instance you move it to one okay so it’s moved the status to one it doesn’t show you anything here in terms of the change but if you look at the oppurtunity under the pipeline you’ll see that it’s no longer a new and if we scroll across to won there it is there in the won status so yes the the changes in the status of the the the job itself we’ll move it in the the pipeline as well so you can move it say to work in progress go back to the pipeline and you can see that it’s now moved to from one to work in progress.

So that’s really the what the relationship allows you to do it’s just that extra little connection across from the CRM to the job costing and just makes it so you’re you’re tracking a bit more the
you know what’s happened to those opportunities that have come through your pipeline.
